Rev. David Macgowan coming to be the main speaker at the school this year. He is the pastor of Whitby Evangelical Church. David was born in Jamaica to missionary parents, but grew up mainly in Northern Ireland. After graduation, he worked as a civil engineer for 13 years involved in airport design. Following two years theological study at Westminster Seminary California, he was called to the pastorate of Whitby Evangelical Church, and has been there since February 2002. He is married to Elinor, and they have two daughters, Angharad (12) and Dilys (10).

Rev. Daniel Webber is from The European Missionary Fellowship, Welwyn. Daniel is the Director of this organisation.

Donald, Rhona and Jim Day (from Trinity Baptist Church, Maryport) along with Jack Jenner from Ulverston and Pastor Andrew Rowell and his wife Linda and assistance from Lee and Judith Rowcroft (from Grace Evangelical Church, Carlisle) will be acting as hosts, catering managers and people to blame when things go wrong!
